"I love staying here bc it is near 95, close to most food choices and an hr from SAV. The breakfast options are nice and sitting in the lobby is comfortable, especially if you want to play pool, charge your phone or heat up a late night snack. The rooms are nice enough for your stay and I love the toiletries. However, the cleaning situation needs to be posted. I was there for four days and my room was cleaned once. Now, I am someone who only needs towels and the garbage dumped. But couldn’t get that daily. At check in, I clearly stated I wanted my room cleaned daily. Another reason I like staying here, they have a nice gym facility. My four day stay: NO ONE CLEANED that gym. Towels ran out, the wipes were empty and the machines were definitely not cleaned or wiped. I primarily stay here bc pricing is competitive with other hotels. I think I’ll try someone else next stay. "

Priced perfectly for its offerings: cleanliness, comfort, safety, location, eco-friendliness, practicality… Nothing fancy, but “gets the job done” if the “basics done well” are your preference. “Hands-on” owner/manager will greet you, if checking in during the daylight hours and make sure everything is to your satisfaction. Plenty of free parking and solid complimentary wi-fi. Continental breakfast, +snacks galore, available all day and at no additional cost. Rooms have larger than average refrigerators (with separate freezers), microwave, iron & ironing boards, 48” flat screen tv’s (with all the channels you’ll need), an endless supply of hot water in the shower and quiet efficient A/C units. Building and grounds are well lit and conveniently positioned just off business 278W, with nearby access to both the island bypass and Bluffton connector for speedier commutes during peak season. Nearby beach options offer the same wide expanses of sand with lesser crowding and associated parking and traffic snarls of Coligny. You won’t be disappointed!"

"What used to feel like a relaxing, family-friendly destination now feels more like a crowded convention center. From the moment we arrived, it felt like guests were more of a nuisance than welcomed visitors. The atmosphere was chaotic, staff seemed overwhelmed, and there was very little of the warm, accommodating experience we remembered from previous stays. One of the biggest frustrations was parking. Even valet parking — which we paid extra for expecting convenience — became a constant fight. It felt like regular guests were completely overlooked in favor of the large convention groups and bigger companies coming in. Multiple times we struggled just to access parking while conference attendees seemed to take priority for everything. What made the experience even more frustrating was the constant introduction of random “new rules” throughout our stay. Policies seemed to change daily with little communication or consistency, making it difficult to relax or enjoy ourselves. It honestly felt like we were walking on eggshells the entire time, worried we were unknowingly breaking some new restriction. The saddest part was that our kids genuinely felt unwelcome there. What used to feel like a place families could comfortably enjoy together now felt cold and inconvenient toward children and family guests. Instead of feeling relaxed and excited, our family constantly felt like we were in the way. For the price and reputation, the experience was incredibly disappointing. "
