The Beaufort Inn is beautiful and cozy. Quintessential southern charm and hospitality. Very warm welcomes from the staff. The breakfast was perfect, my room was perfect, and it’s was comfortable and cozy stay.
The Beaufort Inn is a beautiful facility, walking distance to restaurants and shops. It was a relief to find a historic inn with an elevator. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the stay.
Lovely property in the heart of historical Beaufort. The property is relaxing with many places to unwind, enjoy the outdoors or the historic architecture.
This place is incredible! The rooms are great and cozy with an old time, but modern feel. The courtyards are so beautiful with sitting areas and beautiful trees. You will not be dissappointed. If Google had a 100 star rating they would get that from us! What an awesome stay!

Loved everything! The breakfast was really nice. Biscuits, gravy, ham, fresh yogurt, granola, blueberries, boiled eggs. At 7pm there were homemade cookies and milk. They even gave us free Hunting Island park pass where there is a beautiful beach. The staff was always kind and friendly.
We enjoyed the property but it was too hot to enjoy the outside areas. It was walking distance to restaurants and shops and right by the water. The only thing we would suggest is a better breakfast offer. We didn’t eat anything other than coffee and juice. We would stay here again if in the area. Enjoyed Beaufort
We stayed at the Beaufort Inn for my daughter’s birthday weekend. We had a cottage and her family the greyhound lodge. Bed was wonderful and breakfast above most continental breakfast menus with sausage and biscuits. Loved the location. Very walkable to downtown.
The issues were with the extra bedding. Couldn’t tell if it was clean because it was wadded up in the closet. Staff seemed indifferent about the situation! Also we went to the beach and forgot to get the pass from the front office. Nobody was there on Sunday am and I wish they would have issued the pass as we checked in.
Overall a good experience.
We loved Beaufort Inn. When we arrived staff at the front desk welcomed us and took us on a tour of the facility. She was so very welcoming and helpful. We loved being able to walk to the downtown shops and restaurants from our room. We simply loved it! If we go to Beaufort, SC again, we will not stay anywhere else but at the Beaufort Inn. It was wonderful!
We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage with our own front and back porch. The bedrooms were decorated with period pieces adding charm and character. The original wood floor and exposed brick in the kitchen also added to its charm and homeyness. The kitchen had several pots and pans and basic cooking items. We have recommended a mixer for those(like us), that do cook while there(a large glass casserole dish would also be a nice addition). We did buy plastic silverware as it currently only has cutlery for 4 people, so you would need to wash this after every meal. We made our own breakfast, but understood breakfast in the main inn was provided! We used the bikes to do some of the Spanish moss trail which we picked up only about 5 minutes from the inn. They also have a card for hunting beach which would normally be $8.00/person to get onto. The beds were very comfortable and ceiling fans were a nice addition in the bedrooms and living room. We would definitely stay here again.
