"Yay! What incredible value for money! It isn't the Ritz, but the room was comfortable, clean, the water was hot and it was a bargain on one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. If you feel like being budget-conscious, but still want to go somewhere beautiful go here. We've got plenty of money, but what we saved on accomodation here - we got to spend of lots of daytime activities! After all, it's just a sleeping quarters! "Everyone was so nice, welcoming, and hospitable! All the gentlemen and ladies working there are extra helpful and courteous, they really made our stay that much more enjoyable. The food was delicious, all hand made ro order. The hotel is in a perfect spot at the bottom of Bacalar Lagoon, not too far from the city or the Chetumal airport. It's peaceful and clean! "
