The room was located in a great place next to the beach in Waikiki. The only downside was no blackout curtains, so the city lights kept the entire room very bright overnight

I didn’t realize that this was partially an apartment building that they rented rooms out of. The room wasn’t very clean, even though they charge $250 cleaning fee, which is ridiculous. And there were roaches.

Great Value and location

I recommend staying at the Castle Waikiki. I love the location and the room rate is very affordable for those on a budget. Castle staff even recommended where to park for free on the street near the hotel which saved me the $30-$40/day hotel parking rate. Definitely will stay at the Grand Waikiki by Castle again the next time I'm in Honolulu.

Our room was nothing like the pictures displayed for the location which was a bit disappointing but we didn’t go there to spend all of our time in the room. Staff is AMAZING! Their parking is worth getting as it’s horrible to find parking in this part of town. The view is amazing. Overall location was excellent. We plan on using this location for any future visits to the island.

I’ve been to Honolulu many times. This was my first stay at this hotel. It’s suitable as a place to sleep and shower. The location, in my opinion, is great. I did feel duped by the “cleaning fee”. I would not stay here a second time, but it served its purpose for my trip to Honolulu. The staff was friendly also.

I have stayed at various rooms at this property. Most Rooms are privately owned and rented different ways. This room was this first without an ocean view. It was larger too. Nice kitchen, microwave. Was short on utensils. Rug was worn but ok. LOVE the 1/2 block to beautiful swimming beach and other water activities. Steps to many different places to eat. Frequent buses to almost everywhere. Will stay again.
