Everyone on the island was friendly except the staff at this property I asked a simple question about how to check out and the lady was so mean and did not help answer the question but made me feel really bad for asking pointing as if I should know where to leave the key since I had to check out early morning. There was a nicer lady but unfortunately this lady ruined it. Also the facilities had tiny bugs and was stinky. Thankfully my hostel experience worked out as far as the guests in the room and also the location was decent which helped make up for my stay.

This was my first hostel experience and it was overall good. The price is worth it to be so close to Waikiki especially if you don't plan to be in your hotel a lot. The room was not cramped and generally clean. The bathroom, while a little old, was clean and I used it every night. My biggest issues was on the last night of my stay, the sheets didn't get cleaned and smelly sheets were left from a visitor from the previous night. It did hamper the experience a little. I would stay here again if I needed a cheap an accessible place to stay in Waikiki.

When I checked in my room saw my bed is already occupied and they cannot fix it immediately.

there is no lobby or any person to check in too. I was locked out the hostel not hotel. No one there to talk to or open the gate. A random lady opened it to me that told me to check my email for an email from the hotel. The pin provided didn’t work. There were also homeless people sneaking in. No one provided security or customer service. I left and will never return. I want a refund
