This place is great because it’s close to restaurants and shopping and most importantly the beach. I stayed with a friend here and have stayed here every time I visit.

very good location, the room was quite big and the pool area is also very nice! The only thing is the bathroom is a bit tiny, the door didn’t go all the way up because the toilet was in the way.

Our room was dirty. The day we arrived the sheets were stained. There were four of us and not enough towels. There was no daily housekeeping, only on the 3rd day. We had a couple of cockroach's in our room. The only thing nice about the hotel was the location, less than 5 min wall from international market.

True 3 star. Great location. Room although was renovated has some miles on it. Listing shows like new condition. Rug is stretched, furniture and cupboards paint is chipped. Miss matched dishes. Original impression was disappointing. Dark hallways, old elevators. But for price, location and staff cannot complain. Everything did work, water was hot, mattress, bedding and pillow clean and comfortable. Fridge was cold. Pool was smaller than expected from photo and extremely cold. A long time resident said it was always cold. Hot tub was super hot. Main drag with restaurants and shopping within two blocks. Public transit takes you everywhere. Make sure to get the app. You are on canal and very quiet. Staff were great. We would definitely stay here again. Location was perfect.

My family loved staying here. The rooms were nice and clean, the beds really comfortable, the balcony with table and chairs overlooking the canal and if high enough you can even see the ocean. We loved the pool and hot tub and enjoyed laying in the cabana to just relax. Definitely would stay again.

We had an absolutely wonderful time! Everyone was so friendly! Our room was upgraded to a king suite due to a booking error. Our views were the best, we could see the canal and the ocean from our lanai. With Diamond Head being the focal point. Absolutely perfect! When we visit again, we're coming back!

I’ll preface this by saying I don’t mind older hotels, provided they’re clean and well kept. The IC is neither anymore. We’ve stayed here before but won’t be back. It was not only dated, but in quite a state of disrepair and dirty. The mattresses and pillows were both lumpy and rock hard with no support. And to top it off, the pool was closed for annual maintenance but neither the hotel or hotels.com gave us any warning. Super disappointed.
