"My group found the Lexen to be a great place to stay if you are going to the Hollywood Bowl. It is so much easier to walk there as opposed to dealing with parking or an Uber. It's a 15 minute walk, slightly uphill for those who have issues, but for most anybody it would be easy. The hotel itself is unusual in that there is just a desk someone sits at to check you in; it's very sparse but it did the trick. "Our first time staying in LA. You're going to be far away from anything, wherever you are. La Mirage is in walking distance of a plaza of restaurants and deli shop, as well as an incredible diner (Clark Street Diner) so you're in a good place. Also not far from the busses. The room itself is large, with a huge, very comfortable bed. It is cleaned rigourously, but unfortunately the place is extremely dated and smells heavily of tobacco. We stayed for 7 nights and even on the last day our own...

"Very good location, lots of parking, however the parking charge was extortionate compared to other hotels and the price displayed on the ad prior to booking doesn't explain ther is an additional arking tax charge on top. Paper cups for hot drinks were rubbish. Very clean, room was nice and big, great shower, usb ports were handy."

"The bathroom shower curtain needs replacement to sturdy material. Otherwise place is nice clean even its old. Will stay there again in the future travel"
