"The hotel is super new, functional and stylish and the location around the corner close to the bus stop to the city is gorgeous. Above all the hosts are very friendly and welcoming, picked me up from the station and got me there on departure. If back in Otaru, this will be my place to stay!!"

"Very comfortable for a pod hotel. Staff and amenities are very good and if you require English assistance, they have staff that can speak as well as provide English documents and instructions. I like that the lockers are right next to the pod instead of in a separate room like many others. My only minor complaint is that breakfast was served in an adjacent hotel which you have to go outside and back in to get to, which in the winter isn't the most pleasant. I would stay here again though, the...

"It was a nice stay. The hostel is clean and surprisingly quiet in the 20 bed dorm. The shuttle bus service was great but make sure to book at least a day in advance. Couple of downsides, it is very isolated so can be difficult if you are solo travelling and the bathroom/shower facilities are limited and not near the dorm room"

Booking your capsule hotel in Hokkaido

Booking a capsule hotel in Hokkaido is increasingly becoming one of the best ways to travel. These unique accommodation options allow you to budget your holiday entirely differently, with most of your budget going towards attractions in Hokkaido rather than the hotel itself. The bargain that capsule hotels offer is just the beginning, as you'll find a long list of benefits that go along with planning your holiday at a capsule hotel.

Capsule hotels are unique in that they don't offer much space compared to the typical hotel. Even so, they offer all the space you personally will need. At capsule hotels, guests sleep in pods with a large bed and room to stretch out. This pod is surprisingly cosy, featuring warm lights and convenient amenities like power outlets to keep your devices charged and ready for your adventures in Hokkaido.

Staying in a capsule hotel is similar to staying in a hostel. You'll have convenient access to a bathroom and dining area, but they're communal facilities that you share with the rest of the guests. Unlike a hostel, however, your pod is completely private and even soundproof, allowing you to get a relaxing rest regardless of what's going on in the hallway. Additionally, the duration of your booking can vary quite a bit. Most people tend to book capsules for a short period of time, but some hotels offer bookings for as little as 1 hour. Even so, you'll still be able to find some that offer multiple-day bookings.

When you're looking for the best capsule hotel in Hokkaido, we make your search easy. All you have to do is input your travel dates, and you'll find a wide variety of results from 8 unique options starting at just NZ$84. Additionally, these convenient results will display an average of previous guest ratings as well as special offers like free cancellation.
