The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the grounds impeccably maintained, resulting in a perfect family reunion weekend involving picnics in the gardens, meals in the restaurants and restful sleeps. "The service was great, though my suggestion is that it is difficult to pair with an extended stay when you booked a short stay. The long-stay owners were extremely loud on the last day. Overall, a three-star from me, just because the service was good."

Unfortunately the hotel wasn’t serving food in the evenings due to the coronavirus but the food from both the Hibernia pub and wavertree cafe was fantastic. "
