Question 2

Which area of Tenby is best to stay in for cheap hotels?

Accepted Answer

For budget-conscious solo travellers visiting Tenby, staying in the heart of the town centre or just outside the historic walls offers the best opportunities for cheap hotels and guesthouses. These central spots provide excellent access to amenities and attractions without needing extra transport.

The area around the South Beach and North Beach, particularly slightly set back from the immediate seafront, often has guesthouses and smaller hotels that are more affordable than those with direct sea views. Solo travellers will find these locations convenient for exploring the beaches, the bustling harbour, and the charming cobbled streets of the old town on foot.

Alternatively, consider accommodations a little further inland, perhaps towards the outskirts of the main town area. While slightly less central, these spots can offer even greater value. Tenby is relatively compact, so even a short walk will get you to the main attractions, and this approach can reduce accommodation costs.
