AC was leaking water onto wood flooring, but communication with the owner was swift and a maintenance guy was sent the next morning. Maintenance guy left a wet mess in one of the bathrooms after the repair, but luckily there’s two bathrooms in the unit. Cleaners came in while we were out, but had left the front door unlocked and open when we came back. Communicated with the owner and they were shocked and said they would address it. Only two towels were provided, but there is a washer and detergent on property.

The room was terrible.
I had booked a city-view room, but instead the window faced another building so close that we could see directly inside each other’s rooms.
It wasn’t clean at all—almost as if housekeeping never came.
The air conditioner vents were full of dust, so even when I turned it on, it felt unpleasant.
The bathroom was covered in water stains, and the showerhead was broken, leaking water sideways.
The TV screen was damaged and didn’t work at all.
The worst part was at night:
Because of the air conditioner, water started dripping from the ceiling. At 2 a.m. I woke up to find the room flooded. When I asked the front desk to change rooms, the staff told me to contact the owner myself—in the middle of the night! That staff came to my room with me, used my towels to mop the floor three times half-heartedly, and then told me to turn the air conditioner back on after 30 minutes. Unbelievable. Even the towels were yellowed and stained.
For four nights, I felt constantly uncomfortable, spending as little time in the room as possible. I wanted to move to another hotel, but couldn’t because of budget constraints.
I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels in my life, but never have I experienced such a poor-quality room for this price. It was awful. I will never go back!
