"Room and bathroom beautifully equipped and spotlessly clean. Breakfasts were amazing. All staff were very welcoming and hospitable. Great base to explore the area. It was unfortunate while we were there that the lift was out of order, making it difficult for my elderly disabled mother to get to and from our first floor room. Access to a lounge or somewhere to sit in the evenings would have made it perfect."

"A lovely quaint little gem of a place. The staff were very welcoming and polite. We couldn't fault the food because it was wonderful and home cooked too which is always a plus. The dining room and bar area were old fashioned but classy, very cosy too. We loved it! In the family room the bathroom light over the mirror didnt work. There was an issue with the toilet seat as well! But these were just minor details. Overall would we return? Of course we would whenever we are up that...
