"Absolutely loved our 2 night stay here, one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed in. Super friendly staff from the moment we walked in, nothing was too much trouble, they are genuinely invested in making each and every guest feel valued and welcome. We stayed in Portland and it was a delightful room; spotlessly clean with a stunning view of the needles. Nice little freeview tv with all apps available to log into. Food and drinks really good. Try the spicy mango margarita, absolutely bang on ;) thanks to all for making my daughter’s A Level results day so memorable and positive. We will be back for sure."
"Superb hotel, the gardens and the harbour view are stunning. Staff very friendly and helpful. Spa facilities good and felt like quite a treat. We did not pay extra for the hot breakfast and I don't think there was any need, the continental selection is very high end and delicious. Our room was on the back and quite snug but we knew that when we booked. "
"This has to be the best hotel I have stayed in for dog walking. It has a restaurant next door that serves excellent food sourced locally. A bit more expensive than a pub chain but well worth it. The same with the breakfast which was excellent.
And the bonus is we could eat in the dog friendly area with our dog."

"We really enjoyed out stay in Barton on Sea Holburne Naish, our compliments to our wonderful host. The property was really lovely and the view was so wonderful to wake up to each morning. It was quite quiet during our stay as it was before schools were let out for the summer. We enjoyed the sound of the waves and the peacefulness of the property. Everything was beautifully clean, comfortable and, fresh. We enjoyed our breakfast on the decking each morning and a drink in the evening watching the sunset when we were back in time from exploring the area during the day. We loved the full size refrigerator and fully equipped kitchen (minus a dishwasher, as stated) and our welcome package from our host, which after along flight and drive from London was so appreciated! Our only minor hiccup was that we wished the bed had been a little more comfortable with a softer mattress topper as we are use to a much softer bed at home, however given the peacefulness and sea air we slept no problem. The beach was a little further of a walk than we had expected more like fifteen minutes vs five but still very enjoyable. Thank you a wonderful stay, we highly recommend! "
"All staff were extremely friendly and down to earth. Very warm greeting by the owner on arrival introducing herself and giving a brief history of the business. Showed us around and explained how things are done with the bar, breakfast etc. even introducing us to their pet, Lionel the parrot. We were given a choice of 2 rooms to pick from. Rooms were very clean, plenty of storage area’s for your belongings. Good choice of tea, coffee etc, tall fan available to help in this warm weather. Iron & ironing board available if needed. Views were divine. Even had the option of sitting on a balcony near our room looking over the sea. They had a seating area out the front with sea view or seating area’s out the back with a large pond that had lots of fish in it.
There was a large lounge area with a big TV (next to the bar) where we were able to watch England ladies win the final! They even brought us some complimentary snacks to eat while watching.
Good choice of food for breakfast.
Will definitely be booking again hopefully in November for another family party. "
