"My wife and I enjoyed our stay in Mercure hotel haneda. The front desk was very helpful even though some staff have limited English we were able to communicate with them. The exterior and interior of the hotel was nicely done and make it seems more grand.
Moving to our room, we booked the double bed with the shower enclosure instead of the bathtub. Let’s just say we loved the shower enclosure. The granite or granite like tile they used was beautiful. It made it feel like taking a shower outdoors. The usual amenities are included such as shampoo conditioner and body wash. They also include blow dryer and other couple personal toiletries. The room was quite spacious and clean. There’s a small fridge inside the room to keep your drinks cool. The WiFi seems fast but I didn’t test the speed.
The included breakfast is much appreciated. Even though most food choices are similar throughout our stay they tried adding one or two different items each day. They had this bread that they get from a local bakery and it was so delicious but unfortunately they only had it for couple of days and we were sad when it was gone. The good thing the staple croissant and rye bread was good too. Both western and Japanese inspired breakfast was delicious.
Unfortunately I have to include my cons. I wish they had ice machine in each floor. The good thing is you just have to call front desk and request some. There’s no laundry facilities inside the hotel but 1 is close by. Lastly everything is far. "
"The transportation to and from the airport and hotel was extremely convenient and easy. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The air conditioning worked very well too!"
The Royal Park Hotel Tokyo Haneda Airport Terminal 3
8/10 Good
"Very convenient location. It was tricky to find initially as the entrance is tucked in the corner behind the check in counters on the departure level (3F) in terminal 3. There are plenty of restaurants and shops in the terminal. For travellers arriving from train, the terminal 3 stop is before terminal 1/2. Free shuttle bus between terminals or you can pay for a quicker ride on the train or monorail (easy access from 3F). I booked a superior room with 2 beds, like so many hotels in Japan it is small. Nice bathroom with separate space for bath. "
