The rooms are comfortable, breakfast buffet excellence, as is the brot cafe on the premises. Next door is a good restaurant (Landhaus Tomas) for an evening meal. Last, but certainly not least, the staff here are welcoming and helpful."

"Hotel Alte Redaktion is a lovely hotel, newly renovated. It is directly off the main road of Gevelsberg so very easy to get around by foot or car from the hotel. I stayed in a double room and it was a good size. The common front area of the hotel is a welcoming place and good for a beer and a chat with other guests. Finally, the staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. Debs at the front desk was very cool as was the breakfast crew. Thanks for a great stay."
