I tried this hotel based on the excellent comments but it did not work for me. From difficulties to check in to a old man having an inappropriate behavior with a young lady almost naked in the restaurant area yesterday night and a breakfast area not able to serve any kind of cooked eggs this morning. Bad timing maybe that plays against the hotel but my honest feedback.

Gemütliches, kleines Hotel am Tierpark. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Insbesondere die Matratze war top. Die Nacht war ruhig. In der Nähe fährt die U Bahn. Das Frühstück war nichts besonderes, aber in Ordnung. Personal freundlich.

Das Welcome Park Hotel liegt in einer sehr guten Lage in Bochum. Sehr nettes Personal und echt guter Hygienestandard. Frühstück bietet auch eine sehr vielfältige Auswahl. Hier fühlt man sich echt wohl. Zu kritisieren war lediglich der fehlende (Mini)-Kühlschrank. Insgesamt aber trotzdem definitiv weiter zu empfehlen!

Auf keinem Fall im heissen Sommer dieses Hotel auswählen. Trotz 4 Sterne haben die Zimmer kein AirCondition und die großen Fenster lassen sich nur in Kippschaltung öffnen. D. h. Sie können während der Nacht auch nicht eventuell von der frischen Nacht-Luft profitieren. Beim Einchecken der zwei Personen war im Bad nur ein Set billige Handtücher. Das Zimmer war durch die Tagessonne total überhitzt. Das Personal hatte nicht einmal die Vorsorge gezeigt die Gardinen als Sonnenschutz zu schliessen.
