10/10 Excellent
"Clean and relaxing. A very short walk to the beach. This was our second time staying and we will be back. "
Charming Home with Game Room and Pool table to enjoy in beautiful Norfolk
10/10 Excellent
"We very much enjoyed our stay. Super close to businesses and restaurants. Quick drive to the beach and close to our family we were visiting. It was very clean and surprisingly quiet. "
Tri - Level Residential Home; Pet Friendly, Wifi, Off Street Parking 4 Bedroom Home by RedAwning
2/10 Terrible
"Absolutely Horrible – Do Not Stay Here
This property should not be listed for rent. When we arrived, it looked abandoned—broken windows on the ground floor, no exterior lighting (very unsafe at night), and the key was difficult to retrieve from the lockbox. As soon as we entered, we were hit with a musty, stale odor that made the entire place feel like a haunted house.
The ground-floor bathroom door literally fell off the hinges when opened. That bathroom also flooded, making it unusable. There was mold, rotting wood, no soap or towels provided, and we had to buy our own sheets because the ones provided were questionable.
One of the beds on the first floor broke while we were there, and upon inspection, we found several loose screws clearly used to patch it together—a sign that this wasn’t the first time it had broken. The entire property is held together with quick fixes that eventually fall apart.
We also encountered bed bugs, a cockroach, and cracks throughout the unit. Overall, this property is in extremely poor condition, and I would never recommend it to anyone."
Tiny House Near Beach & Naval Base - Privacy Fence
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent location near Naval Base Norfolk right off Tidewater Dr (VA 168). MIMOR glitch with access code, but it was fixed within seconds with a call to Ezmel. Gas stove might have a leak, but it did not detract from our stay (Let Ezmel know). Great yard for the dogs with good lighting and multiple solar lights. This is our first VRBO and we will reuse this property when we return to Virginia."
The Chesapeake Gray
Historical Waterside District
20 mins to Oceanfront
10/10 Excellent
"The home is newly renovated/built. Contemporary furnishings and a nice upgrade to the neighborhood. The parking is in the rear of the house. Only access on arrival is around the front. The listing makes it sound like there’s a hot tub but there’s not. Overall it’s comfortable and clean. "
