Nice hotel, however the bathroom definitely has some wear and tear. Comfortable beds & pillows. Pool area was nice. Would prefer to have a coffee maker in the room, but it was available in the breakfast area.

Cleanliness of the room was really good. That is what we loved the most about styau g in this hotel. The breakfast was good as well, in general better than continental breakfast offered at other hotels. Very satisfied with our stay here.

Check in was easy and the staff member was friendly and quick. Some of the housekeeping staff were on the floor when we got to our room. They too were very friendly. The room was clean, but the building is dated. The windows in the room allow a great deal of moisture into the room. Everything felt damp during our stay. This is evidently an ongoing issue as rust was seen forming on the headboard light fixture and the bathroom room door is so swollen that it doesn’t open or close without applying force. The breakfast meats, when available because the offering was empty during breakfast on our second morning there, were over cooked and rubbery. We did not personally experience it, but another guest was complaining during breakfast that some of the milks were curdled or sour. I had wanted to address the room conditions during checkout, but there was no staff present at the front desk. This was by far not the kind of experience we have come to expect from the Holiday Inn Express hotel chain.
