"The room smelled of pet urine and the host never communicated with me to allow me access to the unit. I didn't obtain access to the unit until 8:45pm on the date of check in when I was there at 3:30 for checkin. The business has failed to make this right not have they refunded my deposit."

The thermastat in the house was locked out at 17 degrees in minus 25 degrees outside. One pan and plastic cutlery. This host shouldn't be allowed to rent. Host completely unaware of their downfalls. VRBO personnel had no understanding of our situation and couldn’t give proper advice. Sorry I feel cheated after hours of explaining the situation on the phone. I have a good mind to alert the media. "

"This property is a scam, we were never sent access information and so had no choice but to go book into a hotel"

"Communication with host was not great. Initially responded to a question I had, then when asked another question we did not hear anything back. There were shower towels, but no hand towels or face cloths. It was good for a one night stay as we were just there to sleep, but for longer stays there would need to be more towels. It mentions that it sleeps 6 people, we had 5 but there wasn’t extra pillows for the person having to sleep on the futon as well. There is a side door that we had to enter through to access the vrbo and there wasn’t a walk way for us to get to the door, therefore we had to create our own walk way to get to the door because of the snow. "

"Very nice and confortable place. The kitchen was missing a few essential items; spoons, butter & cutting knives, and dish rags. A few more toilets paper rolls would have been appreciated. Parking was not always available close by."
