Amazing hosts, provided us with a lovely selection for breakfast. Cottage was warm and cosy, beds were great, quiet and safe, lovely outdoor seating to soak up the sun rays. Would come back and rent this cottage again.

Fabulous Havelock North Accommodation
An amazing cottage to rent. Julie and Eddie are wonderful hosts who go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The cottage is spacious, comfortable and very well equipped. The extra personal touches from the hosts made the stay even more special. Highly recommend this property.

Wonderful stay, wonderful hosts.
We loved our stay at Louisa Cottage. Julie and Eddie were the best hosts we have had. They provided lots of delicious treats and were warm and friendly, but let us get on with our holiday. Private, very comfortable cottage close to Havelock North. 10/10 for us.

A little Gem
Wow - where to start. Julie and Eddie are fantastic hosts, the Cottage is amazing, set in the grounds with loads of wildlife around. Clean and tidy, quiet and private. It has everything you could ask for which is a tribute to Julie and Eddie. We will be back

Great hosts. Lots of added treats home made by our hosts Julie and Eddie. Lovely setting. Beautiful accommodation and super close to central Havelock North for dining and shopping.

Gorgeous cottage with a surprise of lots of goodies and treats waiting for us. So grateful for the thought that went into making us comfortable. The electric blankets were on, fresh breakfast supplies, it was all really lovely.

Beautiful cottage just out of town, hosts, Eddie and Julie, are lovely friendly people who are very willing to help you in any way they can. Lovely fresh home made and home grown goodies were an extra treat. I would recommend this place and would definitely come back again

Probably one of the best stays we gave experienced. Lovely hosts and a wonderful accomodation with everything you need and more. So comfortable and well equiped. Close to everything but enough out of town to feel rural. Just a spectacular stay and we will be back for sure!

A perfect stay for family
Was travelling with mum - this amazing property met every need and more. Hosts were lovely and so accommodating, especially with our unintentional late arrival. They were attentive to all our needs while still giving us our space. The homemade/grown goodies an exra treat. It was lovely to open the curtains each day to see little critters exploring their world outside - rabbits, doves, ducks, quail, hovering hawkes. The setting was very private and quiet, the photos just don't do it justice. The house is refreshingly modern in an English elegance style - it felt like "home" the moment we stepped through the door. Loved the vase of fresh roses that were in full bloom on the property. Highly recommend, will be staying again in the future :)

Comfortable warm and cosy. Lovely environment with relaxing atmosphere. Well setup cottage with e verything you could want. Maybe some signage would help to find the place is the only constructive criticism I could make. We would be happy to stay again.

A hidden Paradise
This is a beautiful presented home, it's not a bach, or converted building, this is a home, the Louisa House is just that, with everything you need on arrival and settle in for your stay. With fresh produce from the owners who show you round on arrival and make you feel special to share this experience. If you have never been and looking for a little get away would well recommend. We will be booking again for our next trip to Hawkes Bay.

Everything about Louisa Cottage was a pleasant surprise. The hosts were charming and very helpful. The cottage was warm, sunny, private and very well equipped. Definitely one of the best places we have stayed in NZ. We will be back next year.

A good stay
A beautiful cottage and very homely. Hosts go out of their way to ensure your stay is the best possible. A personal note is that some maybe travelling for work. A small desk would be a real winner as the dining table isn’t understandably comfortable you can sit at all day. Credit to the hosts who show their pride in this cottage and visitors.

Long weekend in Hawkes bay
A friend and I came up to play at a 3 day Bridge tournament. We were very happy here, very comfortable beds, quiet surroundings and wonderful produce that the hosts and provided. Would definitely come again. The place is close to Havelock North and the autumn leaves on this beautiful property were gorgeous. Thanks so much Julie and Eddie.

Peaceful cottage stay
The cottage was perfect for our needs. We appreciated the peacefulness and the beautiful views from the cottage. The cottage itself was very spacious and comfy with plenty of spaces to relax. Julie and Eddie were very welcoming and friendly and extremely generous with their included provisions. We particularly enjoyed the homemade soup and muesli! We also appreciated the early check-in. Highly recommend this cottage.

Wonderful stay with Julie and Eddie
We recently stayed with Julie and Eddie in their cottage. We were only there for the weekend, as we had a friend’s wedding to attend. We wished we had stayed longer. Julie and Eddie are some of the nicest people we have ever met. Their property is spectacular. The photos do not do it justice. The cottage was clean, warm and had ample space for 4+ people. It has great amenities, comfy beds, ample bedding and linen and is surround by beautiful landscapes. Eddie went over and above to make us feel welcome. He stocked the fridge with butter, jam, eggs, yoghurt, milk and juice. We even had a sampler of cheese and biscuits and some of Julie’s delicious granola mix and preserved plums. We felt so spoiled and cannot thank Julie and Eddie enough for their hospitality, especially when Eddie provided a ride for us to the wedding in his own car, at no additional cost. They are both such warm, genuine people. This isn’t a cottage, it is a home away from home. We will definitely return again for a much needed break. Do not hesitate, book this cottage and see for yourself. Natalie and Mark.

We had a wonderful time at Louisa Cottage. Julie and Eddie are amazing hosts. There was all kinds of produce available to us and although we had brought food from home, the extra touches were very thoughtfully provided. The fresh fruit and flowers were also very much appreciated. This was a return visit for us and the cottage was just as well set up as it was on our first visit.

Very lovely friendly owners who went out of their way to provide most delicious Gluten free food. Cottage has beautiful furniture and great equipment and was most spacious for our stay for the two of us. Grounds are peaceful and restful with beautiful trees as well as being good driving distance to shops. We arrived on a rainy day and uncovered front steps makes it not the best unlocking. We found the main bed a little uncomfortable.

property exceeded expectations. Hosts provided a lot of extras which we did not expect and were very grateful for as we arrived later in the day.
