"The Otter was a great stay for our 6 night stay in the town of Banff. Nestled at the end of the Main Street away from the crowds, it was a perfect and QUIET area to stay. We used the hot tub outside almost every night after long days of hiking and the restaurant within the hotel is fairly new, but one of the BEST we tried in Banff (ate out pretty much every evening). I would recommend. Perks: free bus passes and bear spray (free if you don’t use it!) so that was a nice plus. Loved it"

"Manage your expectations. These are cabins, it’s a short season and the nightly rate is up to 50% less than most. It’s not a 4 or 5 star hotel. But it’s fun, great for the kids, you can have a campfire at your cabin or there is a main area. Good WiFi and you can cook your own food. "
