"From all the places I have been to in China, this place just stands out on top. The staff were super helpful, and everyone I talked to there could speak English. Here I want to make a special mention of Sunny and Evan at reception. They went out of their way to help us with rebooking our room, and to know more about the area and activities. The rooms are spacious and well kept, the food great, specially the buffet at night. The hotel and grounds are super beautiful, the waterfall pool...

"The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, the pool and gym were very nice. Quick to switch rooms on request, providing ample water, helping with recommendations, and the breakfast was incredible for the price(plus they allowed take away). Was the equivalent of a 4 or 5 star hotel in America. Truly a great experience. 5m drive to Westlake."

"Everything is perfect: the location, staff, and room design. The only problem is the lobby floor is super slippery. And the lighting design for the mirror is terrible. You can not see your make-up at all cause all the shooting lights were from the top. "

"Nice surroundings but the villa is very cold in winter. We stayed a night in the winter. The villa was extremely cold. We called the front desk; a technician came to check and admit AC is not strong enough and would get a heater for us. But the heater never came and we had to call front desk again for a quilt. Avoid the villas in winters."

"The hotel was about an hour out of Hangzhou, so away from the buildings and traffic. Located in a small village, it was. 5 minute bus drive back to the lake, so pretty convenient. The room was small, and in need of some repairs. Bathroom also small. The front desk was very helpful, her English was excellent. Walking distance the Lingyin Temple precinct. Plenty of nice local cafes nearby. "
