"Stayed two nights. Had a very nice room on the 12th floor. Check-in at 3:00 p.m. was fast and easy. Hotel was very modern and very tastefully decorated, and it has a very nice onsen (with sauna). "Stayed two nights. Had a very nice room on the 12th floor. Check-in at 3:00 p.m. was fast and easy. Hotel was very modern and very tastefully decorated, and it has a very nice onsen (with sauna). I didn't eat at the hotel restaurant, so I cannot comment on the food quality and service. The hotel is right next to Kumamoto Station; the station and the shopping mall below it offer some shops and a few restaurants, but otherwise, the area around the station is very quiet and businesslike.
