Large apartment, kitchen adequate, could have done with a few more standard utensils (tin opener, scissors, 2 oven gloves rather than 1). Whole apartment needed some tlc. "Great hotel. Swimming facilities lovely. Grounds immaculate and even a wee play park for kids. Only thing that spoilt things slightly was the service in the Antler bar. Not enough staff on so service was slow. We ordered food just after 5pm and had to go and check where it was at 6.10pm. They said there was a problem with the printer and they had lost our order. Not ideal with a starving 3 year old but they did their best to rectify it, complimentary drinks and rushed the order through once brought to their attention. Staff polite and friendly, just not enough of them and the ones that were working were slow. Overall a great stay, would definitely return. "

"Went up north for niece's wedding, booked online and delighted with high quality bed /breakfast. The accommodation was just off the beaten track ,nice and quiet. Breakfast was a full english (local produce)and a variety of cereals . Christine was the perfect host with her two spaniels. Highly recommended. "
