"A wonderful location near the ferry dock, with an amazing view of the harbour. A large comfortable living room, large kitchen & eating area. Comfortable beds, and furniture. Nicely furnished, lots of books and games. Our host Bryan was responsive to questions and helpful with ideas when asked.We are happy to recommend Pipers Bluff to couples or families. We loved our times on Haida Gwaii largely because of our “home”."

"Well located for walking to nearby amenities, but the room was dark and cheerless. Very clean, but odd decorating. You have to indicate if you want a microwave, so read the room amenities descriptions well. Mattresses okay. Linens too big for the one bed. A few pieces of cutlery and a few plates and an old plug-in skillet with no lid provided? Parking is very limited and you must park on the street at the front. Staff was very lovely. The restaurant is only open part of the week, like most things on Haida Gwaii. Food was great!"

"The Views and tranquility were rejuvenating, Attention to detail I've never seen..All areas where fully equipped with every thing we needed: BBQ, Pizza oven ,all the utensils and smoothies in the morning. Coffee on the beach watching the sunrise was a highlight."

"The location was great , mid island. There is a pub/restaurant 1 min away with beautiful views. A few doors the opposite direction a coffee shop restaurant with amazing food. Steps away from that a grocery store with everything you need. The house is very well equipped and homey ."

"The tiny home was decorated beautifully. The bathroom was clean and roomy. The view was spectacular had the ocean and grazing cows out the back windows. Loved it."

Ocean Front Log Cabin on Haida Gwaii

"The host was wonderful and everything was very smooth. They went to extra effort to ensure that we had all our needs met during our stay. The cabin is lovely and charming and right on the shore as shown. Please be aware that the access to the shore may not be for everyone. It created no difficulties for us and we are a couple of 71 years of age. However, it should be noted that someone who has a difficulty with walking, may not be able to access the shore directly from the cabin. There are other access points up and down the shore within a very short drive. There is a lovely little café that is also a general store and also allows for Wi-Fi on your phone so it can be accessed while in the car as well. There is Wi-Fi in the cottage and everything works smoothly as well as the wood stove, which kept us very warm and cosy along with a couple of small Hydro heaters. We both highly recommend this place to stay well in the islands. We hope to come back."
