They say kitchenette but it is a plug in 2 element electric stove burner. The pans were worped so you had to hang onto them so they don’t fall right off element. In the regular rooms poor lighting and shower doesn’t work. No microwaves in regular rooms. Frank was friendly and helpful

Crap shack in Haida gwaii

Weather was absolutely amazing hotel is super old like back in the 60s beds were uncomfortable and super old had a musky smell in the room the screen on the bathroom was taped on which left a gap at the top which let bugs come right in I wouldn’t stay here again

The location was great. The room needed a spring clean. Dust and cobwebs hanging from ceilings. Kitchenette was nice to have but I scraped white gunk off counter. Missing cutlery but Im sure they will get things in order. Desk person was friendly and helpful.

The staff were great and opened the door at 1am after a late ferry arrival. The location across from the water is perfect. However, there was still food in the fridge from whenever the last person stayed there and used soap in the uncleaned shower. Aswell as the cleaning lady thought she would stroll in at 630pm unannounced while I was lying on the bed in my underwear. Why 630pm, why not knock? I have no idea.

Convenient but poorly maintained.

The only saving grace is the location; smack in the middle of Charlotte City; almost across the road from Tourist Info. Tourist Info was very helpful. The Sea Raven is old and dirty; almost a tear down. The person who checked us in at the Sea Raven couldn’t speak English; couldn’t even answer basic questions. There was no service of any kind. The room was not clean. Huge dust balls and cobwebs under the beds; grunge in every corner; kitchenette not clean except for what I did for the next guest! There is a restaurant attached but we never tried the restaurant. Your survey does not ask about location. The location is excellent and the restaurant convenient. Despite all my complaints I would probably stay again because of the convenience and the reasonable price.
