"You have to literally "save" beach chairs by 7am if you want the chairs in the shaded areas. Staff was friendly and nice. Good food and service."

"Amazing views"

"Hotel itself is extra large, clean and modern. The salt water lagoon pool nearly spans the length of the hotel. The seating is comfortable, but get up before 7:30 am to secure your loungers. There is little interaction between pool and beach. The water is brown and beach not enticing. The overall experience is centered inside and next to the hotel building, rather than integrated into the outdoors. Be prepared to walk the interior length of the hotel to get to your restaurants etc. long waits for the elevators as well. Many activities cost extra and are expensive (arcade, bowling, escape room, laser tag). Fortunately, they have fun free entertainment geared to families and various age groups. We played pickleball, did art (tote bag, painting), and attended awesome shows in the beautiful indoor theatre at 9 pm. The food and drink were always good (except for Livo, which was the only underwhelming restaurant). We loved Copal and Kita, serving Mexican cuisine and Teppanyaki. The spa was lovely and I had a relaxing massage. The gym is gorgeous with amazing equipment. It was packed in the mornings, but I always got a workout in. Although I wouldn’t come back because I want a more outdoor beach experience, we had a great vacation here!"

"Loved the restaurant selection here. Never really a problem to find a place to eat every night that’s not the buffet. Drinks selection was unlimited and they even set up extra margarita stands every night. Loved the abundance of wildlife. So fun to watch the monkeys every morning, the coatis every day and the kitties by night. "

"The hotel is okay if you’re just looking for a place to sleep and not spend much time there. However, the staff lacks attention and customer service could definitely be improved. It’s fine for a short stay, but don’t expect a very welcoming or attentive experience."

"Room cleanliness and condition were exceptional. Restaurant quality and service was amazing. Breakfast and lunch buffet not my favorite, but better if you go early, food goes fast. Favorite area was the adult only pool area. Loved being connected to Xcaret Park, easy walk. The lush natural habitat and animals was what brought us to this resort, away from concrete Cancun. "
