"The castle stay is an experience everyone should try at least once. I love the scenery, the staff was very nice and professional, I loved seeing all kinds of different people and tourist stopping to take pictures and interacting with guests, staying in the castle takes you back to old times and how people used to live. "
"Nice small hotel in a convenient location. Room was clean and comfortable. Good wifi. Was hot water but didn’t last for long. Had to rush in shower. Staff was professional and friendly. Breakfast at restaurant was good as was the service. Would stay here again. "

The town has a lot to offer. We booked a tour to see many of the local museums including the Momias. We also booked one of the Callejoneadas and it was a very memorable experience! We loved it. The vendors can be pushy.

De Gto mi opinion es que lo mas bello es su centro historico, me gusto el ambiente nocturno y les recomiendo las callejoneadas y el viaje a Dolores Hidalgo a 1 hora.

We saw most of the recommended sights during our stay. It's a small town and much of the tourist economy is, appropriately, targeted to Spanish speakers. We went on some and did the best we could with our elementary level language stills. Loved it

Get ready for some noise. We had difficulty finding wild Caught fish. Very good location for steaks and for classic Mexican dishes. The tourist district is all within easy walking distance If your heart can withstand the hills.

Delightful working town which retains its characterful and historic atmosphere.
"Very convenient, restaurant quality of food very good they have a lot of options I recommend. Beds were very good. Over all I will stay in this hotel again I highly recommended. "
"Very friendly and helpful staff and perfect location to view all the sites. I would have preferred an outdoor pool, but otherwise it was a very nice clean pool."
"Place is right across the basilica de Guanajuato and short walk to many restaurants, bars and stores, the front desk lady was very helpful with luggage and recommendations. The place itself was very clean, quiet and comfortable, had a simple but pleasant continental breakfast. Highly recommended. "
"This hotel is centrally located in the heart of Guanajuato city. Most of the tourist attractions were within walking distance and if they weren’t, it was easy to get a taxi. We really enjoyed the architectural charm of the entire establishment. They offer a continental/Mexican breakfast from 8 to 12 which was great to have as an option.
A tip that would have been good to know prior to arrival is that you can pull up to the hotel if you see a gap in the metal/chain fence outside and upon arrival will be given options for parking. Unfortunately, we did not know that, and when I called the hotel that was not communicated to me properly so we parked our car at a parking garage and then got a taxi so it was a bit inconvenient. With that information, I feel like it would’ve been a flawless stay. Overall, I would highly recommend."
