"This hotel is more a series of rooms with a brief front desk that is available from 4PM - 8PM. Rooms are spacious, but basic. There is Breakfast on offer. But lunch, and no dinner. And also no bar. Therefore you need a car if you are staying here. There are 2 restaurants available in walking distance (approx. 15 mins) and an infrequent public bus / train service which if you miss a bus, wait an hour. Miss a train, wait an hour. It’s a good walk from the train station as well especially if you have luggage. Staff were terrible. Reception desk provided completely incorrect information regarding ski hire and it not being available at the summit of zugspitze. Ski hire is indeed available. So why do they not know this? They challenged my review on google saying they had no record of my stay. Expedia knows I stayed here, as that’s how I booked. So now they get one star from me. "

"We were so tired when we arrived but were able to check in early. The frau was funny and so very helpful. She helped us with tips on our activities and was just a very nice constantly helpful person. She provided really good options for restaurants too. I highly recommend this hotel. 👌 "

"Walked in and thought I picked a great place. Got to our room and lived with regret. Very very small and the shower is separated from the bed by a curtain."
