"A wonderful place to stay in Sutter Creek, which is convenient to nearby vineyards and wine tasting establishments. It’s also across the street from a friendly local farmers market on Saturday. I ate breakfast outside in the cafe downstairs while listening to the folk musician performing at the market. The room was quiet and comfortable. The only small con was having to carry our luggage up 2 flights of stairs to our room. Bonus—fresh scones delivered to our door and fresh coffee down the hall....

"This is our favorite place to stay in Amador County. The hotel is a gas, very old timey and well maintained. We made dinner reservations and the food and service and atmosphere were impeccable! Don't miss the cute underground bar below, you'll feel like you're in a speakeasy. Great cocktails. We love the location right on Main Street, plenty to do. "

"This recently updated hotel is still under construction in some parts such as the Finch Bar and ground floor area. The rooms are nice, and the beds, as far as our family was concerned, were comfortable. The linens were fresh and plentiful as well as the amenities such as soap, shampoo and lotion. The lobby had reading material, nice seating and fresh water and coffee. The staff was nice and helpful when I had questions. The one slight complaint I have was that in my daughter's bunkbed suite room...

"This was our second trip to the White House. We enjoyed it just as much as our first trip. We hoped for a nice sunny weekend to enjoy the beautiful outdoors but Mother Nature had different plans. It rained then snowed! However, it didn’t take away from our weekend. The cabin has everything you need should you choose to stay put and enjoy the property. The house is walking distance to apple orchard stands and a quick drive to many wineries. We had the best stay and can’t wait to return again!"

"This was a little piece of heaven. We were in the area for a family members wedding. The house acted as a meeting spot for family to tuch basis and plan. It was nice and quiet, with beautifully lit pathways and ample outside areas to relax. The decorations in the home were done with care for detail. I highly recommend this place for a nice relaxing weekend getaway, or vacation rental. It won't disappoint. 👍😊"
