"Our family of 4 and our lab mix stayed for the long Halloween weekend (us Nevadans get Halloween off ;) ). We found the place to be comfortable and a lot like visiting grandma’s house - cozy and a little quirky. I didn’t see it mentioned anywhere else so I wanted to let others know there is no central hvac system. The living room has fireplaces that warm up that spot in the house but the bedrooms were chilly. There were enough blankets and we managed but just thought others may want to know that detail - especially if visiting in winter. Also, the garage was just barely wide enough for our mid size SUV - a large truck or Suburban type suv would have to park on the street. The neighborhood is in a great location - within walking distance to a grocery store, coffee shop and a couple restaurants (we really liked Maria’s!). Overall our stay was pleasant and we are thankful to have found a host that didn’t limit dog size so we could travel as a family."

"Needed first floor due to an injury could not help due to booking through 3rd party....had stairs only which was difficult due to injury. room was good and parking was open. wi fi worked well. No tv in rooms....which was a nice change. There is a bear problem so keep nothing in your car/truck"

"We rented this wonderful house for my wife’s 60th birthday and it didn’t disappoint. The place was easy to find, had a market around the corner from the house and is 9 miles from the state line. The house was exceptionally clean with all needed kitchen needs. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent it again!"

"We enjoyed our stay in Tahoe! The tiny house is a very cozy space –figuratively and literally – alongside many other tiny houses at this address. Compared to other similar accommodations' prices in the area, it was a decent value. We especially liked the comfortable beds and the full-size fridge. We were able to squeeze in 2 cars in front of the cabin, although it was pretty tight.A few areas in which to improve guest experiences in the future would be:-Label switches (there are so many and not very intuitive)-Update light bulbs to be the exact same soft/warm white, around 2700-3000K, for a nice warm cabin ambiance (the cabin has a mix of soft white and harsh cool white, 5000K)-Dial in the water heater (temperature fluctuated a lot in the shower)-Change digital keypad auto-lock to at least 2 minutes (we often were locked out when loading/unloading)-Store at least 4 sets of bathroom towels and wash clothes onsite (we only had 3 wash cloths for our 4 guests)-Dust the fan fixtures-A 1-2 page info page on the kitchen counter would be really handy as opposed to relying on communicating with the host or double checking the property details – where to find items, how-tos, check-in/check-out instructions, house/resort rules, etc.None of the above were dealbreakers, but we agreed it would have made a more pleasant and smooth time for us. Altogether, we had a fantastic time here."
