Fantastic cottage.
Cottage was excellent spotless and warm and comfortable. Very near beautiful beach and pub everyone we met were so warm and friendly would definitely recommend. Also lovely welcome pack which was such a nice touch.

Paradise Beachside cottage.
We have been to Winterton on sea many times, but never stayed there before. Staying in beachside cottage was one of our most memorable holidays in Norfolk. Well done to Samantha and her team 10 out of 10.

Our 4th stay at this property..first stay was 8 years ago and to be fair nothing has really changed..a bit gutted on a previous stays there has been a bbq in the out house, although advertised it has a bbq this however is Not the case.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We removed the BBQ earlier this summer due to some guests not cleaning it after use which isn’t pleasant for the next guests. We apologise if this affected the enjoyment of your holiday. We have now updated the website. For next summer we will make available a new BBQ on request by prior arrange pre arrival. In the past eight years the cottage has had a new bathroom and kitchen, upgrades to all TV’s and numerous changes to the soft furnishings, linen & towels. Further refurbishment is planned for this winter.

Love this holiday cottage
The cottage is great. As is it’s location and especially the garden in the summertime.we have stayed here many times. Unfortunately, and not for the first time, the cleanliness lets it down big time. Cobwebs everywhere ! All over front door. In the kitchen. The stairwell. Main bedroom. In all corners of the bathroom. And the UPVC conservatory looks like it not been cleaned for months ! Open any door and window and look at the surround. All black with mould. The owner needs to pay a surprise visit to the house 1/2 hour before new renters move in to see for he self. She would be as horrified as we were. Great holiday home. Very poor cleaner

Amazing!
We have had a wonderful time. The Cottage is lovely, very comfortable, well equipped and clean. Perfect location near to the beach. The beach is so clean and it was wonderful to see a few Seals bob their heads up at night time in the sea. Our Cockapoo absolutely loved it on the beach too. We have already booked to go back next year. Highly recommend a short trip to Waxham Barns where the Dunes Cafe has relocated, food is fantastic there. The local fish & chip shop in Winterton is lovely too. Winterton-on-sea is amazing and we cannot wait to go back again and stay at the Beachside Cottage as it is so lovely.

Property excellent position ( been before 10yrs ago) lovely enclosed garden. On the surface looks clean but could do with a bit of spring cleaning in places . BBQ is a definite NO. Needs a step stool in kitchen as cupboards quiet high if you are short. Overall its a lovely cottage you won't be disappointed excellent dog friendly place.

Beach side cottage
Had fantastic week at beach side cottage took dogs and didn't have to drive anywhere walked various routes from winterton to horsey to see the seals to West Somerton to Caister. Weather not the best but still had lovely time. Cottage just right for us with access to dunes from bottom of garden. Cottage modern and well maintained.

Great stay at Beachside Cottage
Great stay at Beachside Cottage with our dogs. The property is a real home from home with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Undoubtedly the best part is being able to walk out of the back gate and straight onto the dunes. We booked our next stay on the day we left, what more can I say!

Just what we were looking for.
It's a very well looked after and well equipped cottage. Most important to us was the location. Everything we wanted in very easy reach particularly the beach and dunes for walks with our dog. If like us, you want to park the car and forget it till you go home you will really appreciate this property.

Wonderful Winter Holiday!
I had a fantastic winter holiday at Beachside Cottage! All my questions were answered as soon as I texted. The cottage was perfect for long walks on the beach and dunes. The seal pups were so cute! A dog-friendly pub is a minutes walk away and there's a chippy and shop near too. I love this place and will be back!

Another Great Stay at Beachside Cottage
Yet again we had a lovely holiday at Beachside Cottage. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable beds. Great access to the dunes and beach. Dogs had a ball. We were lucky again this year with the weather. Lovely sunny days. Winterton is a lovely village with friendly locals. We will definitely be returning.

We have stayed here 4 times and never disappointed. Ideal location if you have dogs like us or beach loving children. It is a quiet location. A great chip shop coffee shop post office and handy convenience store.

Brilliant location- nice property
We stayed for a week, the property was in a perfect location for us and our dogs to take full advantage of seaside and due walking. One downside for us was that the cottage is fully carpeted - which was difficult to manage with sandy paws meaning I felt I needed to hoover twice a day to keep it clean and tidy. Garden was brilliant - perfect for morning coffee and a leisurely lunches in the sunshine.

Back to its best
We have stayed here many times. Last two times we mentioned to the owner that the cleanliness leaved a lot to be desired. This I am glad to say has been rectified. The house was spotlessly clean and NO horrendous cobwebs in sight, as there had been before. Have booked again for next year. Just one point to raise. Why does the bathroom have the cheapest toilet roll possible ? It is useless. Please provide better quality toilet roll

First Norfolk Holiday
Location is ideal for a quiet holiday the cottage is near an excellent beach and there is enough in the village for you to eat and drink. The beach cafe was excellent. The cottage itself was very comfortable and in an excellent location, cleanliness could do with a slight improvement. Some suggestions from us would be a newer larger microwave, a knife sharpener and blackout blinds in the bedrooms. We really enjoyed the stay and would return again. Thanks Pete and Emma

What a amazing cottage, so comfy so clean, had everything you need, absolutely found no fault with the cottage. Garden was dog friendly and the beach was beautiful. We really didnt want to leave and come home today. Had the most lovely relaxing time ever. Thank you and hats of to the house keeper the cottage was spotless.

Wonderful location. We had everything we needed. So good to be able to sit and eat in the conservatory. Comfortable furniture and beds! Had fun on the beach, flew a kite and walked through the dunes. I did leave a note as suggested, if you have any concerns. Which I think is very good. Overall 10/10 Very happy.

Cosy cottage in a great location
Stayed in February during storm Eunice and storm Franklin, but we were super snug and warm here. We (and our dogs) loved getting straight out onto the dunes in the sunny intervals and the welcoming, dog friendly pub was just around the corner for the less sunny times. Winterton itself has everything you need and everyone stops for a chat. The cottage was very well equipped, generous welcome gifts from the host and, very importantly, had comfy beds with huge duvets! We’d definitely come again, thank you for a comfortable stay.

We’ve booked again for September because it was so good
We had such a lovely stay, Buster the French Bulldog absolutely loved the sand dunes and we are so close to the sea too! Some great local pubs, restaurants, tea rooms and a local co-op for your essentials. The cottage has everything you need and is super clean,. There’ are TVs in each bedroom and in the living room, the beds are super soft and comfortable. Thank you for a lovely break, We have booked for September October can’t wait!

Great property in fantastic location - very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Garden great for doggies even our little Houdini as very secure fenced all round, the dunes are marvelous for walking. Just returned home and missing it already, we will return next year!

Visited Beachside many times. It's in a good location close to the Dunes and beach. Previously the cottage has been spotlessly clean, but this time it was a little disappointing. It's been an exceptionally busy year for home owners, so perhaps that was the reason why is didn't sparkle.

Pleasant relaxing stay
Overall very good... accommodation good, well equipped, close to beach and lovely little village. The local pub do great food and very friendly. The only downside were the lack of high dusting! A fair few cobwebs but that might be down to the time of year or proximity of the property to the dunes... but overall a great property and location. Would highly recommend and will definitely return.. Many thanks to the host for a great experience..
