"We booked a last minute break as the weather was expected to be great and this little hotel and pub turned out to be every bit as good as the weather. The room was quite compact but equally very comfortable, and had the benefit of a balcony over looking the estuary and boat yard. The afternoon entertainment in the garden was really good as was the fresh fish, prawns and oysters served from the garden bar. "The welcome we received at check in was probably the best welcome ever at a hotel. Our room was squeaky clean and we had a gorgeous relaxing view over the golf course. We ate in the onsite restaurant one evening, sensibly priced and great food, again the staff were exceptional. We loved the use of the pool and its other facilities. All in all it was a fabulous stay, we hope to visit again."
