Hotel Indigo Durham by IHG

"Liked: Clean Comfy bed Great showers, very hot! Lovely staff Quiet Great location very close to the Durham Cathedral Disliked: Breakfast was average. Over heated pastries and lukewarm cooked breakfast with cold beans on the first morning. Sausages very processed not what I was expecting. Would certainly return but would eat breakfast in town."

"Nice hotel in a great location for exploring Whitby. The room was quite small, and was very warm (though this is to be expected given the weather!) Parking is tricky if you don’t pre-book, we managed to just about squeeze into the extra spaces by getting there before check in time. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was nice overall a nice stay."

"The staff were fantastic. They really look after you and make sure everything is great during your stay. Special mentions to Sarah and Nicola for their excellent customer service ❤️ (Sarah's nails are amazing and she pours a perfect pint!) Also, the young lady on duty on my last morning (Millie?) has the BEST playlist. The entire place is very new with nice clean decor. The only negative is no air conditioning in the room...which normally isn't necessary up north! However with the heatwaves we've been having, it might be worth looking at."
