"We stayed for one night having spent the afternoon at Mount Grace. After enjoying an excellent meal served by very friendly staff we retired to our comfortable, clean room, where we were able to experience a good nights sleep. We were not disturbed by traffic from the adjacent road despite having the window open. Breakfast was wonderful and set us up for our onward journey."

"It was a great experience for my wife and I to sleep over a pub. The staff were extremely friendly. We met some wonderful people from Wells and we had a really good beer and cider. They even made us a platter of cheese and crackers. The parking was very good, access to the pub was a little difficult due to the many staircases one had to use to get to our room. It was especially difficult getting large suitcases up, but that is natural when there are no elevators. if It was warm and cozy, the...

"Brilliant stay. Hostess very friendly and breakfast was one of the best I've had. Nice place and very homely. Great location if you want to see the surrounding area. Pickering itself was limited if you wanted evening meals and not just pub food but we found an Indian restaurant within a 2 minute walk from the hotel which was recommend."

"Staithes is mine and my partner's favourite place in the UK. We have stayed in Staithes a few times now and I can honestly say I would recommend this cottage to anyone. The location is perfect with a bit of a sea view from the bedroom window. The cottage has a lovely cosy feel to it, beds are really comfy and has everything you need for a short/ long stay. "Brilliant place to stay as a family, very clean and lovely place to stay, location by a private farm in the sticks you’re surrounded by grass, views, water and horses it’s beautiful. Great size accommodation and with modern kitchen and bathroom making staying here great. Located close to mainly areas, Beamish, Newcastle, Durham etc. Can’t recommend this place enough a lovely cozy warm stay."
