The property was in a beautiful, reasonably quiet location. It was close to good eateries and a short walk to a noce playground and the beach. The only downside is that there werent enough rubbish bags for our stay and it took us a few days to realise where we had to take our rubbish. It would have also been nice to have an extra packet of laundry detergent (so we could wash our towels) and dishwasher detergent to give us enough for 2 loads. Be aware that while our apartment was fairly well maintained, each of the apartments are independently owned so each is also independently renovated/decorated and quality can vary.

Not enough items in kitchen for amount of people staying. No plastic glasses and plates so that you could take something into pool area. Sofas and some chairs were broken and kitchen and most things very dated and could do with a refresh. Rooftop pool is lovely, but need some shade up on the roof.

The airconditioning didnt go to the bedrooms, so it was impossible to sleep. We had an athlete who needed a good sleep, so he had to sleep on the floor in the lounge. There was no service, so we had to try to wash towels and replenish things ourselves.

The facilities such as the pools and spas and sauna were fantastic. The location is awesome. However the apartment not so great. Uneven floor boards that stuck up and are hazardous in some spots. The oven was filthy so that made cooking dinner for our family impossible. The closets had so much random crap in them car seats beach buggy boxes of floor boards mis matched and ver few coat hangers. The bathroom draws were full of hair n fluff. The shower was not clean and the shower head needed consistent readjusting. The place mats were all stained n crap the longer was covered in dirt and the living area smelt like urine.

Old, Overpriced and deceptive marketing

The place is dated. Three different devices to get to room. Needed to insert key into slot for power, so when out all day the room was very hot on return. Room not serviced at all during our stay - was told that this was specified on website but not on hotel.com. Free wifi was limited to 250mb per day then charged. Dryer did not work and response was "it's a weekend so someone will look at it on Monday".

When first got in it was obvious it had not been cleaned well. Ice cream stick on coffee table and rubbish easily seen under sofa, coffee cups had coffee stains etc. Then main bed wardrobe door off rollers etc. Small things really but you expect when paying good money. Had a shower, flooded bathroom which was disgusting as had not been cleaned likely for ages. But credit to management, they got most fixed/cleaned after I asked. Manager nice and handyman for complex awesome. Overall happy enough.

Currently i am undergoing Cancer treatment, and had 1 week off to go away. We stayed in apartment 1E. It was a HEALTH HAZZARD! Broken, mouldy tiles in the bathroom with cockroaches! We paid for a spa room but couldnt use it due to the revolting condition of the bathrooms. The lock on the door was broken (maintenance came to check it but didnt have another lock) bedrooms had no air cond only a fan. Furniture was grubby and my child went to get a blanket out the cupboard that was covered in brown sticky things. This place is not fit for staying in with the bathrooms mouldy and tiles missing. We told reception that $417 a night is really not fair for what we got. I am going to show these photos to relevant people as i believe we were ripped off. I asked for a discount on our stay because it was a health hazzard but told no. If they had any conscience, they would not put an immuno compromised person in a mould and cockroach infested room. We asked to check out but were told we had to pay 3 nights even though we asked after 1 night of stay as thats cancellation policy. DONT STAY HERE!
