We were able to check in early which was great, however we had booked a superior king and at check in was told it was a standard king. When I questioned this, they said a standard was a superior which sounds shady to me. Breakfast was awful.. we had to line up for over 20 mins just to be seated and never did get the coffees we ordered.

Staff were all amazingly helpful and obliging; The Imperial Hotel is situated close to a number of high quality eateries of varying price and clientele, with the ocean a brief walk away. We will be back on our next visit to QLD, thank you

Gorgeous hotel, beautifully fitted out in art deco style. Only downside was there was no view to the mariner from our particular room which I was expecting from the photos when booking. Other than that, it was really luxurious throughout, and a very comfortable stay.
