"Our welcome was very cold, The lady at the reception was busy organizing a box and did not even acknowledge our presence for a min or two. and then a security staff said "wait". And after a few min someone just gave us the room keys. Room was very clean but they did not keep any towels and we had to ask for it. USB and other charging points were very close to the bed which was great. The hotel location in general doesnt seem to be safe. Its worth the price though. "

"The hotel has an amazing vintage architecture. The building is amazing however it needs a some tlc. The reception ladies are great, they made me feel welcomed specially that it was my first time in Durban. The security guards was really good, very welcoming as well. I had a wonderful stay at the hotel with a nice sea view and it's very quiet, you get to relax.Just wish they could just could take case of the building outside, it really need some work. "

"On arrival. The apartment and establishment was not very clean. Not sure if it is rated 3star,as this was not apparent. Security Gate was out of order and fixed 3days later. The establish is poorly maintained. Microwave not kept clean. However the position is beautiful and we note the place was starting to be uplifted upon reporting to the manager. Trust "
