"Good location, parking was available although we had to pay for it. The double beds were on the small size, bedroom furniture looked quite old, and the mattresses were a bit soft for us. Easy self check in process and quiet rooms."
"Nice looking hotel with attentive staff in quiet location but still close to city centre. Breakfast good. Our room (in the attic) was too hot but we stayed during a heat wave. EV charger was ridiculously expensive but apparently they have plans to change provider. Relaxing short stay and will likely return."

"Fabulous stay. The swimming pool was an absolutely wonderful space for everyone whilst we stayed with you. We loved the family room we were in which had two huge beds and lots of space for the kids to enjoy playing "
"From arrival we were really impressed with this place.
The lady greeting us and showing us to our room, was lovely and made us feel welcome from the outset.
I’m not sure if this lady is the owner, but she was always busy and appeared to show genuine concern that guests needs were being taken care of.
Room was large and comfortable, with all amenities required.
Attached bar/ restaurant was comfortable and served a range of well priced meals and drinks.
We didn’t use it, but the outside dining area looked lovely."

"Had the pleasure of spending a couple of nights here with my partner and 3 daughters. A great place to get away and spend some quality time. It feels very remote but at the same time is close enough to drive or jump the train into Newcastle for the day. It was great sitting around the firepit in the evening after a soak in the hot tub! Plenty here for the whole family we would definitely stay again. "
