"A pleasant cottage, but there is no access to back garden as 2 very large dogs were there. They also scratch / jump at the back door (in lounge) in the middle of the night! Front garden not as pretty as picture with some dog mess and dogs watching through gate. Lastly boiler is in bedroom so you can hear when it comes on. "

5* Barn Conversion c/w hot tub, sauna, games room, 1/4 acre enclosed games
10/10 Excellent
"Winnie Cottage is absolutely beautiful. Every aspect of the cottage is well thought out & the facilities are excellent. Especially the hot tub, It’s huge & the sauna aswell as all the other facilities provided means u don’t need to leave as there is something for everyone. The games room is a great addition for teenagers aswell as all the games, toys etc for smaller children. On arrival we were welcomed with a fantastic hamper which was a lovely surprise. The hosts are very welcoming & nothing is too much trouble, the communication is excellent. I can’t recommend this place enough. It truly is a beautiful hidden gem "
"The Lodge is of superb quality, massive bedrooms and on suites so nice..Hot tub was asn option but not used.Staff on reception first class..Breakfast was good but spoilt a little by rather surly staff..
Overall a lovely experience and wouldnt hesitate to recommended "
"Staff very friendly on arrival, room lovely and clean. I had a pizza from the restaurant and they brought it to my room- tasted amazing !! Nice beds, lovely breakfast. Would recommend and will stay again.
Only slight niggle only 1 bottle of water in the room for 3 people and 1 pack of biscuits. I appreciate putting 3 bottles in might be a waste but 2 between the 3 of us would have been better and 2 packs of biscuits would have meant we could all have 1 biscuit. Again this is minimal and didn’t alter my thoughts on our stay x "

"We arrived fairly late to this property but had received no access instructions and spent some time tracking down first Travelnest and then the owner. On entering the property it was clear it hadn't been occupied for a little while and was not the cleanest as a result. The garden and patio area surrounding the property is shared and appeared neglected. None of this created the best of first impressions. But the cottage is a charmingly adapted original outbuilding and everything is basically functional. A few utensils and sharp knives missing from the kitchen and no towel rails in the bathroom. "
