Unity Retreat I Gateway to Surf Coast
Summary: A quality 4-bedroom ex-display home located in the suburb of Mt Duneed, just on the outskirts of Geelong. Ideally suited to use as a base to access Geelong, Bellarine or Surf Coast whether it be for business or personal use. Set up to be comfortable for longer stays of a week or a few months and sleeping up to 8 guests in total.
The Space: The floor plan is laid out over one level with living areas towards the front of the home and all bedrooms at the rear. The front living room features a gas log fireplace and is the perfect spot to snuggle up and read a book. A central living/dining/kitchen area services the entire home with high ceilings letting in a bath of natural light. The dining table seats 6 guests and there is seating for all guests across the two living rooms. Free WIFI is available along with Smart TV. The kitchen is equipped with a 900mm oven, gas cooktop, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, microwave and Espressotoria coffee machine. This machine is only compatible with Espressotoria capsules only. Please note: We do not provide pods, you will need to bring your own. It is also fully stocked with all the essentials including pots, pans, dinnerware, cutlery, and utensils. You will also have access to the laundry with a front-loader washer/dryer.
The master bedroom is a full suite with a walk-in robe and a massive ensuite bathroom featuring a free-standing bathtub, double vanity, shower and toilet. The master also has direct access out to the rear patio deck and yard. The additional three bedrooms come off a central hallway and are serviced by the main bathroom and separate toilet. Bedrooms 2 and 3 have double beds whilst bedroom 4 has two long singles.
Heating is provided by a combination of gas log fire place, reverse cycle air conditioner and electric wall panel heaters in bedrooms. The reverse cycle air conditioner also provides cooling to the central living zone during summer.
Outside there is a secure yard with a deck and outdoor dining table. No BBQ is provided at this property and there is no grass in the rear yard however local parks and walkways are only minutes from the property. There is plenty of parking both on-street and off-street in the driveway.
The property is located on Unity Drive in the suburb of Mt Duneed. You will be within a 5-minute walk to local café 9 Grams and Bunjils Nest Playground & Skatepark. 10-minute walk to Armstrong Creek Town Centre with Coles supermarket, pharmacy, more cafes and fast-food outlets. 5-minute drive to the Geelong Ring Road and 1-minute access to the Surf Coast highway.
If you’re not bringing your own vehicle there is public transport via the local bus network accessible on Unity Drive with bus stops within 50-meters of the front door. Ubers are also readily available in this area.
Keys will be placed in a secure key safe located at the property before your arrival. 48 hours prior to your check-in details will be sent out with specific details on the location of the key safe and code. You will not need to come to our office to collect. There is NO access to the garage at this property.
Terms and Conditions

We ask that every guest read and understand our booking terms summarised below. Breach of these terms may lead to the cancellation of your booking before or during your stay.
The guest needs to be 25 years of age or over to book the property and accept these terms.
1) Prohibited Activity - Parties that cause disturbance to neighbours are strictly prohibited during your stay. Events, functions or visitors can be permitted upon prior request on initial booking. All our homes have noise monitoring devices installed. These devices do NOT record conversations and only monitor the db level in the room. - Smoking is not permitted inside the property. Cigarette butts must be disposed of properly and not thrown on property grounds. Failure to do so will result in extra cleaning fees.
2) Departure - We ask that you leave the property reasonably tidy and secure on departure. This includes washing of dishes or stacking the dishwasher and turning it on as you leave, rubbish placed in bins, all personal belongings removed from the property, securing windows and doors, turning off heating/cooling and turning off all lights. - Please note that we will charge additional cleaning fees should you choose to leave the property in an unclean or untidy manner.
3) Cancellations - Please ensure you read and understand the cancellation policy once you have booked. We provide free cancellation with a full refund within 24 hours of booking regardless of the policy, allowing you time to acknowledge and understand the terms of your booking. After 24 hours the policy you have booked is now applicable. All refunds after this period will incur a 5% administration fee on the amount collected to cover the processing of the refund.
4) Damages, missing items or unexpected cleaning - All breakages and damages must be reported to Regional Escapes. Failure to report them will likely result in an extra charge applicable to the cost of the damaged items. No contents are to be removed from the property. Charges apply if an item/s is taken and not returned. - Damaged, torn or stained linen, sheets, towels, donnas, quilts, pillows and couches will be charged at the applicable replacement cost - If extra cleaning is required this is charged at a per-hour rate with public holiday and weekend surcharges applicable. - If there are any charges applicable after your stay we will communicate these with you including providing photographic evidence for your reference.
5) Pets - Pets are NOT permitted at this property
7) Complaints - If there are any issues upon arrival, please contact us via the booking channel for assistance. - We will require photos should you wish to claim reimbursement for any issues reported - We will do our best to rectify any issues promptly to ensure an enjoyable stay. A high-level guest experience is of the highest priority for our entire team.
