"Reception staff were ok, but they were not very informative, I had to ask where my room was and I was not told that the lift was out of order and my room was on the 2nd floor! The rooms are sign posted as ‘suites’ this is definitely not the case. It was a basic room which was clean. There was no shelf or anywhere to put toiletries in the bathroom which was quite annoying and not practical. There was no instructions for the tv and as it was a smart tv I had to work out where all the channels...

"Stayed over New Year and decided to stay and extra night as we felt so comfortable as staff and food were good. Room was a little small for a 'premium ' but adequate. The bar/ lounge is great, lovely fires and a lot of residents brought their dog, the staff engaged with all👍👍. Look forward to seeing how they upgrade the hotel after the January shutdown. We will be back."
