It feels like Valentina has thought of everything to make this a perfect place to stay in Lucca. Valentina’s communication, kindness and knowledge of the area were amazing. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable and the communal kitchen includes a water dispenser offering still and sparkling, free coffee and snacks as well as an incredible view over the amphitheater of Lucca. UNA was a great hotel but not on the beach as indicated by the photos. The pool and indoor pool spa areas were fabulous and as the weather was not the best it was a much better option.

Room was very comfortable but starting to need a refresh. The bathroom was larg, but the shower was over a very deep bath, which made access and exiting a little difficult, as we are both in our late 70's. Location was excellent, a 1 minute walk from the bus station near the Porta Sant Anna at the western side of Lucca. Staff were excellent. Polite, friendly and helpful.

Loved this place and the friendliness of the staff. The staff obviously love their job and love their city. We also loved the city and the accommodation was beautifully done. Little touches of love in every corner.

A very nice family run hotel.Our stay was in winter season therefore the restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was still served and could not be faulted. Many home made treats daily. Although our Italian was limited, staff were kind and understood our needs. The decor of the hotel was beautiful with many homely touches.. Would highly recommend.
