"I have to get the big negative out of the way and it's NOT a joke. The room I was in, the bathroom seat had a loose toilet seat, unbeknownst to me. I flipped that thing up to urinate and while doing so, the whole thing came slamming down right on my "unit." It hurt and to be honest, I don't like the idea of a hotel toilet seat slamming into my member. They really need to fix that. Now for the more serious part. This was clearly an old motel that was bought and renovated. They did a pretty nice job of it. The inside looks WAYYYYY better than the outside. It's also VERY affordable compared to other mid and upper end hotels in the area. We came in for a Ravens game and other big name hotels we'd stay in were at least DOUBLE the price. That said... because it's affordable, it seemed to also still attract some of the iffy clients we don't see at those same hotels. The gym area looked amazingly done though. So all in all, it was a good stay and I would do it again. Cost is good. Renos were nice. Just gotta fix the toilet seat and definitely do something about the exterier."

"Taking into account the property is older, it was pretty well maintained, however imo, it will need upgrading in the near future. I’m not saying it’s bad, just that it’s age shows in things like (in the room I stayed) fraying carpet in corners, difficulty with sliding balcony door, the lighting in the room could be brighter, (don’t laugh) and a toilet that was about 12 inches high. I’m 6’4”. It was like sitting on a training potty for a toddler. Plus the flush was not very strong. At times I thought I was going to stop up the toilet and have to call maintenance. I did ask the front desk host about the size of the toilet. She didn’t know why and didn’t necessarily expect her to, so the best answer she could give me was to ask for a room with a regular sized toilet on my next stay. Lastly the elevators moved a little too slow, so it took awhile for them to arrive. There were two things I’d put in the category of “cheesy”. The gift for Hilton Honors members was, drum roll, 2 bottles of water. Second, was $10/night parking charge. Not deal breakers, but … Now, don’t get me wrong, the stay was pleasant, because there were many things that were great. The full breakfast, the happy hour, friendly and helpful staff, room size, comfortable bed and furniture, clean room, and the expected room amenities. Most importantly, the room rate was very reasonable. So, would I stay there again? Absolutely. I’d just make sure I’d ask for a room with a man sized toilet 😜."

"Overall it was a good experience. The bathrooms could use a good deep clean and new mattresses are in order. The breakfast was great and the staff was very helpful. Unfortunately there was nighttime construction happening on the already busy road outside my window but that it’s the hotel’s fault."
