"The property is nice except for the room I was situated with the bed behind the lift so I got hardly any sleep. It was effectly like trying to sleep in the wind tunnel with the lift going up and down all night. Very tired and pretty unhappy leaving there on Sunday morning."

"One person manning the bar and handling check-in. The poor girls were struggling. First was given a room eight across from the lifts which have a noisy chime when they open. The staff did change our room however the shower drain had a bad smell which permeated the room. Towels in the room were torn. Reception hung up the phone before even answering. Breakfast was hearty. Compliments to the chef on the scrambled eggs. Buttery and runny and well seasoned. Housekeeping was a let down, they changed the towels but left the rubbish and did not even clean the teacups. Overall way overpriced for an Express hotel. "

"No clear instructions, guy over the phone sounded rude. Asian lady was helpful. Apartment was old, balcony was all rusted. Floor was ok but sticky. Odour wasn’t good too. Not happy with our stay. Nice view from the balcony though. Overall not worth the price. "

"Very clean and spacious hotel in a desirable yet quiet part of the city. Concert venues were nearby and easy to get to. Lots of things to do in the area such as shop and eat plenty. Had no issues whatsoever apart from there being no microwave in our room, but otherwise an exceptional stay with amazing staff. "

"The staff were amazing. They made sure we had a lovely stay. They went far & beyond to organise a bottle of champane,chocolates & a helium balloon on arrival for my daughter's birthday & a cot for my grandson.The view was spectacular,we had city & river views. Comfortable beds,very clean hotel. Perfect location to shops & restaurants. We will be back. "
