"Such a unique place to stay. Has all that you need, rooms are spacious, staff super helpful. The information sheet helped as we needed to book the local taxi service, free wifi and good check out time for the weekend. Check out is simple too"
"The room was really quite small to the point where it was a bit cramped and didn't have many facilities, quite basic, no fridge etc, other than that pretty good, well located, the pub is nice and the people are friendly, generally it was okay and fair value for money"

"Just enjoyed a two night stay at Holiday Inn, Aylesbury. Very friendly staff, lovely welcome. The hotel itself is very airy, extremely clean, well decorated. Our room was very spacious, the huge bed was very comfortable, plenty of storage space. The room included an ironing board and iron. The hospitality was very minimal - two tea bags, two regular and two decaf coffees and two milks. (Reception are more than happy to issue extra). We ate in the restaurant one evening, the food was plentiful and delicious as was the cooked breakfast (other breakfast options are available).
NEGATIVES
No lift up to the 1st Floor
Bar drink prices exorbitant: £16 for a 250ml, £12.50 for a 125ml glass of wine. £43 for a bottle of white wine. A pint of Stella Artois was around £6, which is normal hotel price.
Car parking charge of £5 for 24 hours.
Considering the postives which far outweigh the negatives, i would have no hesitation at staying at this lovely hotel."
"Good location with parking. I arrived in a heat wave, unable to open any windows and nobody on site after 7pm.
Felt more like a hostel than a hotel but the price was good! "
Virexxa Aylesbury Centre - Deluxe Suite - 3Bed House with Free Parking
2/10 Terrible
" We stayed at this property based on its 9.4 rating and ‘Deluxe’ descriptions. Nothing could have been further from the truth. No road access to the property. Very difficult public parking up to 300 metres away. Brown, bulging, water stained ceilings. Chipped and cracked paint on woodwork and walls. Incredibly uncomfortable sofa and beds. Heating system non-operable on arrival - took 5 days to fix. Insufficient China, glassware and cutlery for 6 people. Disgusting cookware. Garden looked like a jungle, full,of weeds and overgrown. This property is poorly maintained by the owner who lives In Manchester and is clearly only interested in making money, not providing customer satisfaction.Photos available to back up all the above statements. All of this reported to the Owner and VRBO who refused to take any action or to offer a refund for our 27 night stay in this property.DO NOT STAY AT THIS PROPERTY."
"With my work, I'm away from home anywhere between one night a week, and four nights a week.
I don't often leave reviews.... one hotel is pretty much the same as any other.
This one, however, is a bit different. Quirky, I loved it.
I'd certainly stay again"
Beautiful, stylish and modern cosy, and central 2 bed house (can sleep up to 6)
4/10 Poor
"No communication about how to get in until I asked so we were stuck outside for half an hour. It was freezing when we got in. Put the heating on straight away and it took about 5 hours to warm up as many of the windows need replacing and two of them are so broken they won't shut. The whole place has a cheap feel, bad bedding, not enough pillows, fridge noisy. I'm glad we only had one night booked. It was fairly clean. Lots of things offered on the website didn't exist, like printer or internet access. There's a telly, but it's not logged in so you can't watch anything unless you have a hotspot with you. Needs more investment."
