Fantastic hotel in a good location. Close to the metro. Rooms are a bit on the small size but comfortable and clean. The star of the show is the outdoor onsen.

The property is right next to a 7-11 which is great. 7-11 in Japan is amazing unlike in other parts of the world. The hotel is also easily accessible by bus stops and train stations. The staff were great - very polite, courteous and helpful.

Really enjoyed our stay and location was perfect for us with 6am arrival/departure on the Shinkansen at Hakata Station. Just a short walk especially the early train back to Osaka made it very convenient.

Rooms were very clean. Twin beds were very roomy and mattress was very comfortable. Onsen on 13th floor was very nice. Breakfast was delicious but not many western options which was fine with me. Train station was about a 10 minute walk. Would definitely stay again.

Super clean hotel with hot tub on the roof. They provide everything you need in your room such as a refrigerator, safe, iron, hair dryer with laundry and microwave on the 13th floor. Center to all the attractions. The breakfast buffet is out of this world. I gained 3 lbs with 5-night stay.

Rather convenient. Canal City just across the street. Nakasu Yatai is just 10 mins walk away. Got a 24-hour supermarket in 3 mins walk. Can enjoy open space hot public bath to relax after a long day of walking.

The bath was really clean and nice. They have washer and dryer (2 of them for the whole hotel) but better than none. I’d like towel service in the bath area so you don’t have to bring your towels from your room since I forgot to bring them multiple times during my stay. The service was excellent they seemed like they can read our minds.

Comfortable and Convenient

Mitsui Garden hotels always provide a great experience, and the one I stayed at in Hakata was no exception. The hotel features a well-maintained hot bath on the top floor, which was a wonderful bonus. The room was spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. They also provided a nice bottle of water every day, which was a thoughtful touch. The breakfast here is quite popular, so I recommend booking it when you make your reservation rather than waiting until check-in, as it often shows as fully booked. Unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to try it, but we did have dinner at the hotel, and it was delicious! I’d love to try the breakfast next time. There’s also a highly-rated café nearby that’s worth visiting, and a convenience store right across the street. The large shopping center is only a 5-minute walk away, with many famous attractions within walking distance. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, convenience, and excellent service.
