Exceeded my expeditions.
The small 550 yen fee to store your bag isnt such a problem but when it costs as much as it does to stay here you shouldnt have to pay extra if you arrive early to keep your bag there before check in.
Other than the above I really enjoyed my stay and the room was exceptional aswell as the free beer in the fridge. Small gym too and managed to get a small workout in also.
Many thanks
The main come on was the free flowing draft beer, iced coffee, nuts dried fruits and chocolates at the lobby. The main drawback was the lack of housekeeping staff for the duration of the stay. Guests are required to bring out their trash although towels and toilet papers can be easily replaced at the counter when needed. For 300Usd a night it sure is nice to have a room cleaning service.
A lovely clean, spacious and modern hotel in walking distance of Hakata main station. Clean, safe and quiet local area and would highly recommend! Staff were friendly and welcoming too. Our only downside was that there were only 2 pillows on the bed, 1 each for 2 guests sharing a double bed, and unfortunately there were no extra available when requested which lead to a restless nights sleep.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
It was a convenient affordable stay for us in Fukuoka. Clean and accessible to public transport.
One of the most unique hotels: A lot of the alcohol is free (self-serve draft beer in the lobby and 14 cans of free beer/mixed drinks in the room), but housekeeping and storing your bags before/after your stay cost money.
All-in-all though, this was a good hotel for the price.
The location is great—it's close to the train station and within walking distance of many restaurants and shops, yet it remains surprisingly quiet.
One major drawback is the housekeeping service. They do not change bedsheets or towels during your stay; you have to go to the reception desk daily to exchange your towels yourself.
However, there is one absolute plus: free cold beers, coffee, and snacks are available for guests!
All good but it can be noisy. We were on the 3rd floor. All the rooms doors are facing the inner terrace where people visit. That can be heard in the room. Also, the traffic from the busy street can be very loud. The free beer and snacks in the comfortable lobby is a nice touch. They do charge 550Y per bag per day to store luggage. Even for a couple of hours. It's only a 5-10 minute walk to the station.
Pros: Conveniently located near Hakata station (~10min walk) and many great restaurants (tasty udon next door, ramen a couple blocks away, and many more upscale/and very popular restaurants we didn't try nearby). Lawson across the street. Comfortable beds and a massage chair in the room. Room was quiet for sleeping (didn't notice any street noise). Free snacks (nuts, rice, crackers, dried fruit, candy bars), coffee, and beer/other alcohol.
Minor cons: 550yen per bag storage fee (we didn't realize this before we arrived). We went to the hotel to drop our bags before check-in, but we should have just stored stuff at the station when we arrived and explored until after we could check-in. Not much room for storing suitcases or places to hang towels (we used the hangers in the small closet for towel drying, so not a huge deal). Hotel offers lots of free drinks (which is nice for those who partake), but do not have any non-alcoholic options (some juice or something would have been nice as an alternative for those of us who don't drink much alcohol).
Bigger con: When checking under the bed for loose socks before checking out, looks like they don't ever vacuum under the beds, which was super gross to discover.
