"Convenient location. Staff was nice but didn’t see many. Fans were loud in the room and the bathroom like they were about to break. Tub had stains that made the bathroom feel not clean. Rugs need to be replaced. No mini fridge and no microwave in the room. Prepaid for parking upon reservation but self parking was a scan to park area paid separately. Good stay just to go to sleep after going out in the city for a few days. "

"Things that went right: the breakfast was fine. And Keju on the check-in desk was a professional, cheery and very helpful person. Things that aren't right: The rest of the check-in staff was morose and useless. Check-in took much longer than it should The hotel lobby is undergoing massive renovation -- it's ugly and dispiriting. In fact you could say that about the entire hotel: the carpet is blue and brown designed to hide dirt but ultimately just ugly, the hotel rooms are like prison cells as they have zero artwork on the walls, the lobby interior is grey concrete and exposed pipes, and there currently is no bar area. Why the renovation isn't disclosed on the hotels.com website is a mystery as we would haven't booked. The hotel phone in our room wasn't working at all and the TV kept asking how we were doing using some name other than our own. Finally, there was a function in our hotel on the night we arrived that prevented us from parking in the on-site lot we had already paid for -- ultimately, after driving around for ten minutes and finding nothing, we had to find an attendant and use valet parking. All this on top of an ironman competition weekend where the hotel raised its room rates 2-3x above normal -- you can only imagine how ripped off we felt. I have stayed at Marriott Bonvoy hotels in a number of cities and generally felt they were good and fair -- this one falls so far below the standard that Marriott should be ashamed."

"The night manager is a total rock star. Excellent man! He even brought me my doordash that was not dropped off at my room like i had requested. Ok, there are people just hanging out there, coming and going in the parking lot. Looks like drug activity among other things i saw. Some of the rooms had their doors propped open with clothes baskets at midnight. I was very uncomfortable. It made me feel semi safe that the manager was on top of things so well! The room though! I wish i could upload my video of that room. There was a substance on the nightstand unidentifiable, the hinges on the doors were rusty. The curtain was broke had to pull it to and close the curtain in it the rack u lay your luggage on was rusty. There were multiple holes in the baseboards. The paint was peeling off of the ceilings. Holes in the walls. The bed slept well. At least it was clean. This is the very last stay there for me. You absolutely get what you pay for! Oh and there is one set of stairs on each side of the building. Dragging luggage up those is crazy!"

"We had some strange issues with some of the amenities, but the staff took care of it immediately. There was no hairdryer in the room, but then they brought one up. The coffee maker was broken, but they did bring a new one. Otherwise, everything was great. They took care of the issues without any problem."
