Why aren’t wait staff trained to come back after a minute to see if they need anything or if everything is ok? Why don’t they come around and fill up water and coffee? Earn your 20%. "Our stay at Snug Harbor came at the end of a 10 day trip around the northwest and couldn't have been a more perfect ending. The setting was stunning and the tranquility was serene. The grounds were excellently manicured and the scent of the lavender was divine. Our cabin was very comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. Convenient parking right by our cabin was a plus, as was the availability of food and pastries in the shop. If we didn't live on the other side of the country, we'd certainly be back soon, but even with the distance, we're hoping to return again someday in the not-too-distant future. It was amazing."

"Very cute old hotel 2 blocks from ferry. No AC in our room but we didn’t need it with open windows and ceiling fan! Having no staff there wasn’t a problem and they have dishes and a microwave in the lobby for making oatmeal or heating up leftovers. They set out lemonade and cookies in the afternoon. The only thing that I would suggest thats missing to have in the lobby would be a water cooler/filter refillable station. PARKING: We parked for the day up about 2 blocks in the 10 hr lot, then around 4 or 5, we’d bring it back down to street parking in the evening and in the am, take the car back to the free 10 hr lot not far away."
