Charming QLD-style cottage, in Dunwich the Perfect base to explore Nth Straddie

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. We were struck by how immaculately clean and spacious the rooms were. Plenty of space for a family to spread themselves around in. We weren't short of finding a room to relax in with the comfy bean bags and a sofa or two to lounge on.A lot of thought and consideration for guests went into the finer details in the cottage, from furnishings, decor and provision of everything imaginable in a fully equipped kitchen to board games, a printer even. A home away from home. The swings and slide was a bonus for my 2yr old granddaughter.Neil and Linda were very pleasant to communicate with and the entire experience went so smoothly that I highly recommend staying here as we chose Dunwich as our base and made daily trips to Brown Lake, Amity and Point Lookout. "

"We love Starfish on Straddie. We stay every year and always enjoy our stay. Carolyn is a great host. There is a pod coffee machine that takes Nespresso style pods. Every year we notice work being done on the cottage which is great - from lounge suites, to the little front deck, work is always being done to improve and update. When there is a problem (not that they are big problems - like running out of washing powder) the response is quick. Highly recommend staying here. Our doggie also gives 5 stars."
